Well, I finally got around to scanning in our three ultrasounds.

This is our little one when I was 7 weeks pregnant (from + to +).

This is the baby when I was 9 weeks pregnant.

This is our little one on Wednesday (July 18th) when I was 20 weeks pregnant.

20 Weeks Pregnant

YAY! I am now half way done with my pregnancy which means I am that much closer to meeting our little baby. As you now know we are not finding out the gender of the little one. I guess it knew that because at our ultrasound on Wednesday, it kept its legs closed. I'm thinking it's a girl because it is already doing the aerobics my daddy told Alisha and I to do (keeping its legs closed).

It was really neat to see it move around in the ultrasound. It was moving its little mouth (drinking amniotic fluid). The baby is now 12 ounces and about 6.5 inches (about the length of a banana).

I asked Dr. Cowling if I was gaining enough weight and she said I could gain a little more, but not to worry because the farther along I get the more weight I will gain.

It is really neat to feel the baby move around in my belly. Others can feel it now too. Very neat!

Others can feel our baby kick now!

I am at our annual Williams family camp out in the Sequoia National Forest in California. This morning when I woke up I could feel my baby moving. So my sister was the very first person (besides me of course) that got to feel the little one kick a couple of times. Then my cousin, Christina, got to feel it. So fun that others can feel the little one now!

Early Riser

Well, at five this morning I was woken up to someone playing around in my belly.  Looks like our little baby is going to be an early riser! I'm good with that as long as it sleeps through the night!

Ok, here I am at 18 weeks. I took this picture by myself so sorry if it isn't that great.

The beginning of our growing family!

·         I found out I was pregnant with on March 28, 2012.  Boy was I excited! I thought I would cry, but I didn’t, so I tried really hard to make myself cry. Still nothing. I did scream really loud and kept saying, “Thank you God! Thank you God!”  I wanted to call Brad right away to tell him, but waited until his day off.

·         I told Brad at dinner the next night. I made baby back ribs, baby corn and bought an ATM onesie. When he got home I told him what I made and that I got him a present. He opened the bag, looked in, dropped the bag on the floor and said...well, it's probably not appropriate that I write exactly what he said. Let's just say that he was surprised. Why, I don't know. He knew we had been trying to get pregnant.

·         Luckily, I didn't have any morning sickness! I would just feel a little nauseated from time to time, right before I needed to eat.

·         April 19th was our first doctor's appointment to confirm that we were really pregnant. This was when we got to see the baby for the very first time! Of course I had no idea what I was looking at. All I could see was it's little heartbeat. I thought I would cry then...nothing. I guess I'm cold hearted?! Brad asked several times if there was just one baby in there. The doctor said only one.

·         We told Grammy & Grandpa on May 20th. Brad was at work at BFD so we Skyped him and I told my parents, "We decided to have Thanksgiving at our house this year.  The doctor thought it would be better if we were close to the hospital."  Immediately, Grammy & Grandpa knew.  Grammy said, “You’re pregnant?! I’m going to be a Grammy again!” They were both every excited!

·         I drove to Boerne that same day to tell Granny & Gramps (Brad's parents). Brad called and he told them on speaker phone. He said, “I’m supposed to tell you that Christina’s pregnant.” They were very excited!

·         July 1st was an exciting day for me! I was lying on the couch and felt the baby move for the first time! Boy was that a cool feeling. I went to my room and got the fetal heart monitor to see if I could hear its heartbeat in the same area that I felt it move. I did! Now, I can’t wait to feel the little one move more!

·         Just so you all know, Brad and I are not going to find out the sex of the baby. Brad wants to be surprised and I am going to see how long I can make it before I crack and need to find out.
